چکیده
Information of spatial and energy distribution the electronic state described from localized molecular orbitals is important to understand optical properties materials. In this study, photoemission spectra a highly-oriented-coronene monolayer on Au(111) were measured by photoelectron momentum microscope (PMM) installed at soft X-ray beamline BL6U UVSOR-III synchrotron. Whole valence band mapping across wide space site-selective resonant spectroscopy system demonstrated as case study newly PMM apparatus.

Ground state structures and photoelectron spectroscopy of [Com(coronene)]- complexes.
A synergistic approach involving theory and experiment has been used to study the structure and properties of neutral and negatively charged cobalt-coronene [Com(coronene)] complexes. The calculations are based on density functional theory with generalized gradient approximation for exchange and correlation potential, while the experiments are carried out using photoelectron spectroscopy of mas...
متن کاملResonant photoelectron spectroscopy of Au2(-) via a Feshbach state using high-resolution photoelectron imaging.
Photodetachment cross sections are measured across the detachment threshold of Au2(-) between 1.90 and 2.02 eV using a tunable laser. In addition to obtaining a more accurate electron affinity for Au2 (1.9393 ± 0.0003 eV), we observe eight resonances above the detachment threshold, corresponding to excitations from the vibrational levels of the Au2(-) ground state (X(2)Σu(+)) to those of a meta...
متن کاملHighly sensitive nitric oxide detection using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Nitric oxide (NO) is important physiologically as a gaseous messenger in the central nervous system;1 its level is also associated with several disease states.2 The concentration of NO in these cases is in the nanomolar range; therefore accurate and direct detection of NO at these levels is important. NO is also a decomposition product of several explosives3 so detection of trace amounts of exp...
متن کاملElectron spectra of a self-assembled monolayer on gold: Inverse photoemission and two-photon photoemission spectroscopy
Ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy, inverse photoemission spectroscopy, and two-photon photoemission spectroscopy are techniques commonly used to examine the electronic structure of surfaces and interfaces. We have used all three to study self-assembled monolayers of 4,4 0-bis(phenylethynyl)benzenethiol on gold, a system often studied for potential application in molecular electronic juncti...
متن کاملInfluence of Film and Substrate Structure on Photoelectron Momentum Maps of Coronene Thin Films on Ag(111)
Angle-resolved ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (ARUPS) was measured for one-monolayer coronene films deposited on Ag(111). The (kx ,ky )-dependent photoelectron momentum maps (PMMs), which were extracted from the ARUPS data by cuts at fixed binding energies, show finely structured patterns for the highest and the second-highest occupied molecular orbitals. While the substructure of the P...
